ToneStack does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
What data ToneStack accesses:
Microphone
ToneStack requests microphone access to power the built-in tuner and to let you record playing clips. Audio captured by the microphone is processed locally on your device in real time. No audio is transmitted to any server, stored outside the app’s local storage, or shared with any third party.
Device storage
Recording clips you choose to save are stored locally in the app’s private storage on your device. These files are not accessible to other apps and are deleted when you uninstall ToneStack.
What we don’t collect:
- No account or registration required
- No personal information (name, email, location) collected
- No analytics or crash reporting transmitted externally
- No advertising identifiers used
- No data shared with third parties
- No data transmitted to IceBubble servers
Children
ToneStack does not knowingly collect data from anyone. As no data is collected at all, ToneStack is safe for users of all ages.
Translation feedback
If you choose to submit a translation suggestion via the in-app form, your message is sent directly by email to IceBubble. No data is retained beyond that email exchange.
